### Announcement bar

The announcement bar is a global section displayed at the very top of every page. It’s ideal for sharing important store-wide messages like free shipping offers, promotions, or urgent updates. By customizing the announcement bar, you can quickly communicate with customers and highlight time-sensitive information.

To customize your announcement bar:

1. Go to the theme editor (**Customize**)
2. From the side menu, select **Announcement bar.**
3. Enter your message in the **Text** field. You can add a link by clicking **Insert Link** so customers can click through to a relevant page or collection.
